Our story began on November 3, 2018 at Adobe Gilas in Rosemont. It was just two people out on an ordinary night, not expecting anything special.

As Diana walked in, the bouncer turned to Sam and said, “Do you know that girl that just walked in? You two share the same birthday.”

Sam smiled and replied, “Not yet.”

We spent the rest of the night talking, laughing, sharing drinks, and dancing until closing. The connection felt easy from the very beginning.

On the way home, Diana hit a curb and got a flat tire. Sam did not hesitate. He came right away and changed it under the streetlights. It was the first of many times he would show up for her.

Diana even snapped a quick photo that night and sent it to a friend, not realizing she had just taken a photo of her future husband.

Since that night, we have celebrated eight birthdays together, traveled the world, welcomed our pup Koji (who also shares our birthday), and built a life full of love and laughter.

What started as an ordinary night became the beginning of a lifetime together.
